WiFi Internet Access
Using WiFi you are able to access the internet from anywhere in the park.
The service is provided by a company called Park WiFi.
Why not use it to:-
- Check local weather and travel information
- Keep in touch with friends and relatives
- Shop online
- Surf the web
- and so much more.....
What do I need?
You will need either a PC/laptop equipped with a wireless network card or another device such as a PDA etc that is wifi enabled. Wireless network cards are standard on modern laptops and PCs but if you do not have one they can be purchased very cheaply and plug into a spare USB port.
How do I get started?
Once you are at the park, turn on your laptop and open up your internet browser (eg Internet Exporer or Firefox). Your laptop should have automatically located the wireless network and take you the Park WiFi Logon Page. Remember to turn your wireless on!
At this point if you are a new user, you will need to sign up and create an account. Once you have signed up then you will need to enter your username and password at the Park WiFi logon page each time you wish to access the internet.
Please note that you can only set up an account and access the internet this way whilst at the park. You cannot do this from home.
How do I pay?
There are two ways to pay for the service. You can either pay online with a credit or debit card when you sign up, or if you prefer we will be selling pre-paid vouchers in reception (similar to top-up vouchers for mobile phones).
